My volunteer squash plant growing out of the old compost pile.  I told my kids, "if I disappear, go check the squash plant.  It probably ate me."

 I set the roll of wire there about two weeks ago to give it something to climb on.  It is also reaching out to the fence in the background, looking for something to climb.

 I suspect it is an Acorn Squash.  It has lots of tiny squash, but we are flirting with freezing nights so I don't think it will be able to produce anything edible.
